UPDATE!!!

Okay, Okay!!!
I am sorry that I haven't kept you all updated on the progress of my pregnancy.
Please, forgive me.
So here goes.
I am 30 weeks on Monday and am feeling good most of the time.
Unfortunately, I had to take a 3 hour glucose test. It was miserable and I felt awful.
It was a long drawn out process and from what I felt a wasted day.
A few days later I received a phone call that I had an elevated glucose level. I do not have gestational diabetes thank God but am more elevated than the doctor would like.
He is sending me to a dietitian for a consultation. Yeah, me? I am not looking forward to this appointment but it is necessary.
This baby boy is amazing and moves so quickly. I am so excited that he has so much energy.
I will be updating with a picture in a few days.

Happy Birthday Ray

We celebrated Ray's birthday yesterday. What at riot. I was happy to see Ray joining in the festivities. I love you honey!!!Happy, Happy Birthday!!!

25 weeks and Counting....

I am sorry that this has taken so long to write but right about now I find myself in major crunch time at work and somewhat overloaded at home.
I am so excited to state that I am now 25 weeks. I do not remember caring so much about the advancement of my first two children. Yes, I was excited to be carrying them but I don't think that I was as conscientious of the birthing experience. I was not working full-time either. Oh, how good it is to feel life inside you. Every time I feel this little guy kick and push and turn I am elated that he is full of life and more importantly destiny.
I am constantly in awe that God himself creates and helps form each little life that is born. Wow, God you are so big and grand.
The picture is of me during my 25th week. Last month I was told by the doctor that he was very proud of me for my weight control. I guess ordinarily I would have been offended with comments of my weight but not right now. I have gained 3 pounds this pregnancy and will probably gain a tad more by the end. I was worried at the beginning that I would have gained too much and would not be able to lose it all.
I prayed that God would help me not to gain too much and from that time did not gain anything.I know that I will gain some but am excited that God has helped me with not gaining too much.
That was just a side thought, but we need to be thankful for every little thing.
Thank you God.

Almost 19 weeks!

According to the schedule of my Pregnancy the baby is Head to bottom, approximately 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper), and he/she weighs almost 7 ounces. He/she is busy flexing her arms and legs — movements that I'll likely start noticing more and more. Myelin (a protective covering) is beginning to form around his/her nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he/her born.
I AM REALLY EXCITED. THE MORNING SICKNESS IS GONE BUT I STILL NEED TO BE CAREFUL WITH OVERDOING THINGS. FOR INSTANCE, OUR FAMILY IS MOVING IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS SO I HAVE BEEN PACKING AND SEEM TO FORGET HOW DOING TOO MUCH AT A TIME CAN AFFECT ME ADVERSELY. I WORKED ONE WHOLE WEEKEND AND THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT. UNFORTUNATELY, IT TOOK A FEW DAYS AND I CRASHED PHYSICALLY.
THE BABY IS DOING GREAT THOUGH; I AM SO EXCITED EVERY TIME I GET TO HEAR THE HEARTBEAT. IT IS A RUSH OF AMAZEMENT AND JOY.
THANK YOU GOD FOR ALL THAT YOU ARE DOING AND ALL THAT YOU WILL DO.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT AND ALL YOUR PRAYERS GOD IS DOING GREAT THINGS.
SO AS OF APRIL 1ST WE THE RICES WILL BE MOVED INTO A DUPLEX ON NORTH OLIVER ROAD OFF OF FRANKLIN NEAR WALTON.
LOVE YOU ALL AND WILL KEEP IN TOUCH.

I am amazed by you!

Lord you are so good to me. When I am oblivious you still take me and quietly draw me to you. I am so very blessed. Thank you for entrusting me with your promise. I have been so worried about the end result of this promise that I have forgotten the Process of letting your promise test you until your now.
There is no one like you oh, God.

This is Crazy! You got to see this!

How cool is this?

It's a Girl!!!!

I am so happy and excited to report that my sister-in-law has had her baby girl. Wow! I have never been so overwhelmed to see a new one.
I realized that I had been holding my breath for God's promise in Amy to come to pass so that I would have more faith concerning my own promise due to come soon.
I was able to see Eliana fifteen minutes after she was born and did not realize that she, this little gem, would affect me so much. I started to tear up but did not begin to cry until I took it all in... I was so happy for Amy because God had answered his promise, which by the way is what Eliana's name means.
This baby is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, and I am not exaggerating in the least. I also believe that she is a sign and a wonder from God himself, but don't ask me ask the one who created her. I am not stating that all babies aren't miracles, but sometimes people need a specific sign during difficult times in their lives. This is that time.

God you are so good that even when we doubt your promises, your promises remain the same and don't change. You are so big that even the biggest thing that Satan brings against us can not compare to your best work. I love you so much. You reminded me through this baby girl that nothing is ever like it seems, and that the hardest most difficult times brings forth great beauty. You are truly magnificent.
I love you Lord.

Everyone the baby is doing great! The heartbeat is strong and regular. The doctor was excited that I had lost two pounds. Yeah, me!
I am beginning to show but not much. Love you all and thanks for the prayers. Will give you an update soon.
Oh, by the way, I got to feel the baby and it was so exciting I almost could not contain myself.
Thank you God for this promise.

An Answer to Prayer!

I am happy to report that Xanderia who has been staying with my aunt and uncle now is in their custody. We have been praying so hard that God's will would be done for this little one and He was still in control no matter what we thought. Thank you God for this miracle.

HONOR WHERE IT IS DUE

I want to talk about one of the most important women in my life. My sister Amy Tice is one of most incredible women I know.
Amy Tice has been my sister-in-law (a term that I don't care for) for six years. I think that I have been blessed each day I have known her.
Even through the hardest times a person can have she has been my best encouragement. She doesn't think that she is strong but her faith is unwavering. I am so encouraged by her daily walk with Christ and her family.
Amy just for you.
Thank you for all you have done, for all you do.
I love you.
your sister,
Tina
