32 weeks! Praise God!

I know that I have been slacking but here are some recent pics. I am happy to say that I have been maintaining both my weight and my sugar levels and the doctor is pleased. My new due date is August 9th and I am encouraged because I would love to give birth on the 8th.
It is funny this little boy moves so much on the inside that I can't help but wonder what he will be like on the outside. The anticipation is immense and I am so happy that we are almost there.
I have also been extremely blessed during this pregnancy not only have I been given wonderful family, but I have an awesome husband. He has been under tons of stress with the new birth right around the corner, and has been pushing to be his very best. I love him.
My brother, Jon in Afghanistan, has helped provide almost all of the huge things that we were afraid we wouldn't be able to afford. This is funny because I remember getting things when I had the girls but I don't remember it being so expensive.
I am extremely blessed.
Thank you God for each and every friend they are so dear to me.

UPDATE!!!

Okay, Okay!!!
I am sorry that I haven't kept you all updated on the progress of my pregnancy.
Please, forgive me.
So here goes.
I am 30 weeks on Monday and am feeling good most of the time.
Unfortunately, I had to take a 3 hour glucose test. It was miserable and I felt awful.
It was a long drawn out process and from what I felt a wasted day.
A few days later I received a phone call that I had an elevated glucose level. I do not have gestational diabetes thank God but am more elevated than the doctor would like.
He is sending me to a dietitian for a consultation. Yeah, me? I am not looking forward to this appointment but it is necessary.
This baby boy is amazing and moves so quickly. I am so excited that he has so much energy.
I will be updating with a picture in a few days.

Happy Birthday Ray

We celebrated Ray's birthday yesterday. What at riot. I was happy to see Ray joining in the festivities. I love you honey!!!Happy, Happy Birthday!!!

25 weeks and Counting....

I am sorry that this has taken so long to write but right about now I find myself in major crunch time at work and somewhat overloaded at home.
I am so excited to state that I am now 25 weeks. I do not remember caring so much about the advancement of my first two children. Yes, I was excited to be carrying them but I don't think that I was as conscientious of the birthing experience. I was not working full-time either. Oh, how good it is to feel life inside you. Every time I feel this little guy kick and push and turn I am elated that he is full of life and more importantly destiny.
I am constantly in awe that God himself creates and helps form each little life that is born. Wow, God you are so big and grand.
The picture is of me during my 25th week. Last month I was told by the doctor that he was very proud of me for my weight control. I guess ordinarily I would have been offended with comments of my weight but not right now. I have gained 3 pounds this pregnancy and will probably gain a tad more by the end. I was worried at the beginning that I would have gained too much and would not be able to lose it all.
I prayed that God would help me not to gain too much and from that time did not gain anything.I know that I will gain some but am excited that God has helped me with not gaining too much.
That was just a side thought, but we need to be thankful for every little thing.
Thank you God.

Almost 19 weeks!

According to the schedule of my Pregnancy the baby is Head to bottom, approximately 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper), and he/she weighs almost 7 ounces. He/she is busy flexing her arms and legs — movements that I'll likely start noticing more and more. Myelin (a protective covering) is beginning to form around his/her nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he/her born.
I AM REALLY EXCITED. THE MORNING SICKNESS IS GONE BUT I STILL NEED TO BE CAREFUL WITH OVERDOING THINGS. FOR INSTANCE, OUR FAMILY IS MOVING IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS SO I HAVE BEEN PACKING AND SEEM TO FORGET HOW DOING TOO MUCH AT A TIME CAN AFFECT ME ADVERSELY. I WORKED ONE WHOLE WEEKEND AND THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT. UNFORTUNATELY, IT TOOK A FEW DAYS AND I CRASHED PHYSICALLY.
THE BABY IS DOING GREAT THOUGH; I AM SO EXCITED EVERY TIME I GET TO HEAR THE HEARTBEAT. IT IS A RUSH OF AMAZEMENT AND JOY.
THANK YOU GOD FOR ALL THAT YOU ARE DOING AND ALL THAT YOU WILL DO.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT AND ALL YOUR PRAYERS GOD IS DOING GREAT THINGS.
SO AS OF APRIL 1ST WE THE RICES WILL BE MOVED INTO A DUPLEX ON NORTH OLIVER ROAD OFF OF FRANKLIN NEAR WALTON.
LOVE YOU ALL AND WILL KEEP IN TOUCH.
